Competent Scaffold Inspector
Course Synopsis:
All Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and the new CSA Z797 Standard both require that ALL supported scaffolds are inspected by a certified “Competent Person”. Depending on your jurisdiction, this inspection may be daily, weekly, etc. This course features “state of the art” practical inspection simulations and our 10 Step Supported Scaffold Inspection Procedure and Inspection Checklist

- Platform Size and Loading
- Safe Access, Egress and Guards
- Scaffold Fall Protection
- Electrical/ Environmental Hazards

Who should attend:
Supervisors, safety officers, forepersons of any other personnel who may be designated to conduct daily (or other regulatory) inspections of supported scaffolds.
