Professional Scaffold Erector
Course Synopsis:
The Scaffold Institute by Hightek offers the Professional Scaffold Erector Program on behalf of the SIA. The program consists of a series of learning modules, documentation/certification of erecting experience, and attending a final review/workshop and comprehensive testing.
What you will learn:
- Level 1 (0 hours experience) – Competent Scaffold Erector
- Level 2 (1600 hours experience) – Scaffold math, rigging, load calculations, advanced platforms, technical manuals
- Level 3 (3200 hours experience) – More scaffold math and rigging, cantilevers, hanging scaffolds, advanced structures
- Level 4 (4800 hours experience) – Blueprint reading, takeoffs, estimating, advanced load calculations, etc.
Who should attend:
Personnel who are, or wish to pursue a career in scaffolding on a full time basis.
